Refrigerant recovery method of industrial chiller

by:Arkool     2021-05-25

【】In the repair or maintenance process of industrial chillers, it is necessary to recover the refrigerant to facilitate subsequent maintenance work. There are two common refrigerant recovery methods in industrial chillers: one is to recover the refrigerant to the accumulator, and the other is to recover the refrigerant to the refrigerant cylinder.

   1. How to recover the refrigerant from the industrial chiller to the accumulator?

Note: Our industrial chillers are equipped with high/low pressure pressure controllers. When recovering refrigerant, the contacts of the high/low pressure pressure controller should be kept normally closed to avoid recycling refrigeration The machine shuts down due to pressure during the treatment.

The specific steps for recovering the refrigerant from the industrial chiller to the accumulator are as follows: 1. Open all the valves of the refrigeration system of the industrial chiller, and turn the suction stop valve counterclockwise to make it full Open state, and then use the multi-purpose connector to connect the repair valve with the suction shut-off valve. 2. Close the repair valve and adjust the suction shut-off valve to the three-way position; 3. Turn clockwise to close the outlet shut-off valve of the accumulator; 4. Start the refrigeration compressor of the industrial chiller, the main force in the evaporator It is sucked into the condenser and accumulator.

   2. How to recover the refrigerant from the industrial chiller to the cylinder?

The refrigerant is stored in a special steel cylinder. When the refrigerant in the industrial water cooler is recovered to the cylinder:

1, it should be in the bypass hole channel of the suction stop valve first Connect the repair valve with a pressure vacuum gauge, and adjust the suction stop valve to the three-way position.

2, turn the exhaust shut-off valve counterclockwise to the fully open state, unscrew the plug of the bypass hole of the exhaust shut-off valve, and install the multi-purpose connector.

  3. Use a hose to connect the empty refrigerant cylinder to the multi-purpose joint of the exhaust shut-off valve, but do not tighten the joint at the end of the refrigerant cylinder.

  4. Slightly open the exhaust shut-off valve to remove the air in the connecting hose, and then tighten the joint.

  5. Fully open the valve of the refrigerant cylinder, and use cooling water to continuously shower the refrigerant cylinder.

  6. Pneumatic compressor, slowly close the exhaust shut-off valve clockwise, and the refrigerant in the industrial chiller is gradually compressed into the refrigerant cylinder.

No matter whether the refrigerant of the industrial chiller is recovered to the accumulator or the steel cylinder, as long as the refrigerant recovery is completed, the pressure of the pressure gauge at the suction end is 0.01MPa. After the compressor is turned off, if If the pressure does not rise, it means that the refrigerant has been recovered. If the pressure has risen, it means that the refrigerant has not been recovered, and the operation should be performed again according to the above method.
